Counselling and Psychotherapy in St Albans & District, Hertfordshire
The group members are: Linda Brown, Warren Colman, Jackie Gerrard, Anne Gray, Karen Jenkinson, Howard Jennings, Lauren Kaye, Elizabeth Richardson, Sandra Steel and Michael Whan.
We are a group of experienced counsellors, psychotherapists and psychoanalysts working mainly with individuals in private practice or in GP surgeries.
We are located in Elstree, Harpenden, Radlett, St Albans, and Welwyn Garden City, with easy access to other areas of Hertfordshire, North London and the Home Counties.
Our group came together in l994 to pool and co-ordinate expertise. All members share a psychodynamic perspective, although there is a wide diversity of experience within this framework, including counselling, psychotherapy, analytic psychotherapy, analytical psychology (Jungian) and psychoanalysis.
Members work with individuals and couples, covering a wide range of issues including:
- Abuse
- Anxiety
- Bereavement
- Depression
- Eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge/compulsive eating)
- Lack of confidence
- Low self esteem
- Relationships
- Sexual difficulties
- Stress
We also offer supervision and consultancy to psychodynamic counsellors, therapists, groups and organisations.
